Good for the Community Too
Using transit cuts down on air pollution and fuel use. A person
who switches the work commute from driving alone to riding the
bus can save over 200 gallons of gas a year, and cuts down on harmful
emissions by about 90%. Transit use can reduce traffic congestion
too. A full bus takes about 30 cars off the road. That's a single
line of cars more than five blocks long!
